I am going to buy a gigabyte geforce gtx 960 OC Edition 2GB...just to use for now...I know it requires a 400watt psu at least I just want to know if this psu is good enough...

That card has a TDP of 126 watts and requires 2X 6 pin power connectors.
It should have enough power 32a on the 12 volt rail so 32X12 384 watt power supply. I don't like using adapters but if your buying the card new then use the PSU PCI-E cable for one of the 6 pins and the molex to 6 pin adapter that comes with the card.
