I've had this drive for years and I'm running out of space on my desk, so I decided to remove the Drive from the casing so I could install it as an internal drive. I did this with my older 1 TB mybook with no problems. Take it out, install and windows see it immediately. This Elite model has and LCD panel that shows the name and I'm guessing some kind of encryption. I can't get windows to recognize the drive, unless I put it back in the enclosure. I have tried a complete format, still not recognized. Anything I can do, so I can use the 1.5 TB Green Cavier disk as internal and get rid of the case? Thanks in advance!
