Hello,
I am not a gamer and I mostly deal with CPU heavy tasks for my job. They are not too "heavy" considering the amount of load most modern builds can take though, but most of the load my computer deals with, has to do with RAM and CPU (like running few virtual machines, having numerous foreground and background programs run in different and same instances, etc).
I know GPUs are needed for video rendering and multimedia related tasks, but I don't do those at all.
So my question is, will having a GPU help me in performing any of those tasks with better efficiency and faster speed (not unhappy with my current system performance, but improvement never hurts)?
