I own a FX 8350 clocked at 4.4 GHZ with ASROCK 970 Extreme 3 R2.0 motherboard and Cooler master Hyper 212x as a cooler. My CPU under load tends to lower its own multiplier to x7 from x20 causing massive performance drops and so far didn't find a proper fix.I have disabled Cool'n quiet,AMD Turbo Core and every other possible power saving option and I am starting to run out of ideas therefore help would be appreciated! (Multiplier tends to lower on random for example on 10 minutes of game time 9 min is perfectly fine and 1 minute is FPS drops)
Voltage:1.45 V http://
Temps 45 Cidle 55-60 Cload
GPU:R9 390 8GB

My 970 extreme 3 doesn't even support the 8350 without down pointing blower cooling so your overheating or overdrawing power form the board. Reduce the overclock or add direct cooling to the area around the cpu. No 225W which your OC is at the 9000 CPU speed. Overclock to 4.1~4.2GHz at most. Check the * for more info in the link.

Check also and make sure you have the latest bios update.

Problem is these days it tends to happen even at stock settings so I wasn't always sure what the shit is going on with it.I know from before that the motherboard doesn't support 8 core proccesor as a whole but I learned that 2 weeks after I placed an order so end my suffering. But anyway ty for the advice I will make sure to lower the core clock
