Is it worth to upgrading from FX 6100 to i5 6400?

Hi, my CPU is AMD FX 6100 and GPU GTX 960. My FPS on GTA 5 is avg. 40, and i want ask-does FX bottleneck it? And how much FPS will improve after upgrading to i5 6400? Thanks.

I think that's around the breaking point for 1080/60 fps etc etc. You are probably fairly well balanced but with todays titles you very well could see an improvement with an i5. I had a GTX 970 on an FX 8350 and it was choking in most titles, just a little. Consider that a platform upgrade will open you up to a later GPU upgrade, I would not recommend investing any money in an FX based system at this time.
