"4gb 256bit Graphic Card" Or "3gb 384bit Graphic Card"?

what is more important? more bits or more memory? i want to play decent games and use Video editing softwares (i.e; After Effects,Premier Pro)

current system specs:
Workstation: Lenovo S20
Processor: Xeon HexaCore 3.0 Ghz
Ram: 8 GB DDR3(Upgrading to 12GB)
HDD: 750 GB
GPU: GTX 480, (1.5 GB, 384 bits, Dx11)(upgrading)
OS: Windows 7 and 10

The amount of memory and/or the memory bus(256 bit vs 384 bit) is not the main factor. None of that does any good if the card doesn't have the processing power. The 370 and 780 are on two completely different levels of performance. The 780 is more powerful but uses a lot more power as well, make sure your power supply can handle it.

i have 650 watts psu.. I think it can handle both these cards
