Hi
i have an Old pc and it is Like very Old and trying to upgrade it was a bad idea so i just decided to buy a new pc .
so i bought :
intel core i3-6100
asus expedition gtx 1050 oc edition ( yes it is 1050 not 1050ti ) ( EX-GTX1050-O2G)
1x8 ram
i have them right now and i also have the monitior
now my problem is that i really don't have enough money to complete the rest of the build ( case - hardisk - power supply )
and in my Old pc i already have a 1 TB westren digital blue so i said that's very good why i would buy a new one ? but this hardisk have these old drivers of my old pc hardware can i just like... Format it and use it in my new build ? and how i can save my files ?
and how much power supply wattage i need for the build ?
----------------------
and my main problem that im so scared of building the pc my self ! im scared that after all the money i spent it will be ruined or it will not work because of wrong building . and i really have no friends have experience in this . any advice's ?
Thanks and sorry for my bad English and for Long talk

Solution
For the build listed above (i3, gtx 1050) you can easily get away with using a QUALITY, GOOD BRAND, 400w power supply.
You can use the old drive, just don't do a clean format, or you will lose all your files.
Just look at guides to calm your nerves. They explain everything quite well.

As far as the old HDD goes, I'm pretty sure you can create a new windows partition.
Old windows will really screw up how it operates though. You're better off getting a fresh copy of windows 10.

What mothertboard do you have?

Sorry for Late answer Gigabyte Ultra Durable H110M-S2PH LGA 1151

You shouldn't have any trouble getting the I3-6100 to work with the H110M MB.

good Luck, and have fun!:D
