PC specs
Windows 10 64-Bit
Geforce GTX 550Ti
Intel i5-2500k
Toshiba OCZ TR150 240GB SSD
ASUS P8P67 Pro Mobo
16GB G Skill DDR3 Ram

I upgraded from a standard HD & Windows 7 to a SSD started from scratch with a fresh copy of Windows 10. I've been having issues with my PC freezing while playing games, sometimes I'm able to go a few hours with no problem and other times it happens almost immediately. I'm forced to reboot my PC and am usually greeted by "bootmgr corrupt." On rare occasions it does boot right to windows with no issues. I've tried to reinstall windows multiple times but still encounter the same issue after each fresh install. On some occasions I've left my PC idle at desktop and have returned to it later to find its blue screened. I have the Toshiba SSD utility program, it says my SSD is healthy and my firmware is up to date. Could this be an issue with the Asus P8P67 not supporting windows 10? also under device management my Intel 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family 6 port SATA AHCI Controller-1C02 appears to have an issue starting up. Could that be contributing to my problem?

Solution
To check the list of ASUS motherboard which supports Windows 10.
https://www.asus.com/microsite/mb/Windows_10/

If Windows 10 driver for your motherboard is not provided on ASUS support site, it means your motherboard might not be able to support Windows 10.

You can update Windows 10 and install the latest drivers via "Windows Update".
