Hi all,
Am trying to build my first Gaming System Unit. Been reading a lot about these stuffs and am a bit confuse with the choices that I have.

System Unit Assembly-
Processor: Kaby Lake i7-7700K or Kaby Lake i5-7600K
Motherboard: MSi Z170A GAMING PRO or Asus ROG Maximus VIII Hero
RAM: G.Skill TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory or ...a better solution?
GPU: any ideas?
SDD: any ideas?
HDD(1TB): any ideas?
Power Supply:

Can anyone please confirm that for an average Gaming System Unit this is the best combination?
Budget price: $1100-$1200 or £800-£900

Thanks in advance. (Y)

Memory frequency doesn't matter that much, you can save on that by buying a 2666 or 2400 kit.
Those motherboards support M.2, so an SSD that fits in that slot would certainly offer excellent performance. If the cost is too much, though, even a SATA SSD is sufficient.
If you're planning to use the HDD for nothing but game storage, for example, 2TB WD Green drives are a very cost-effective choice. The price jump from 1Tb to 2Tb is really not that large, so you're better off with the extra storage in case you need it in the future.
The power supply is something you should never cheap out on. EVGA Supernova brand PSUs have excellent reviews at jonnyguru.com, and come with a 10-year warranty.
As for the GPU, either an XFX RX 480 GTR or a 6Gb...

As for the GPU, either an XFX RX 480 GTR or a 6Gb 1060 will do you fine at 1080p or 1440p resolutions.
