Not getting the FPS i should be. Me and my brother have the same gpu (pny geforce gtx1060 6gb) and in csgo he never dips below 175 fps but i never go above 100. We are on the same settings. his cpu is .2 ghz faster and has 24 gbs of ram. I dont know why it does this, ive tried reinstalling, resetting cmos and lowering the game settings, i get the same fps nomatter what.

pny GeForce GTX 1060 6gb

Its not just CS:GO where I have the issue. GTA V and Euro Truck Sim 2 have the same problem. Do you think the launch command could help in these other games as well?

yeah I've checked all power options and nvidia stuff and is all running at what it should. My PC was not always like this however. Games did run perfectly fine and then all of a sudden the fps just dropped.

Prior to posting this i already tried reinstalling the gpu drivers and i would only reinstall windows as a last ditch effort. Also my power saving setting at set to high preformance.

my guess is that you might get that one unlucky card which is always somewhat factory mistake(?) you said it runs perfectly fine before but suddenly drops? I would say that it has something to do with a power surge or sth of the sort which would damage the card.

My fps never dropped, it always ran low, it was the other guy who is hijacking my post that dropped. I get 50 at lowest to 130 at highest
