Hi everyone,

So I recently bought an ASRock Z97 motherboard from a guy on eBay. Been really busy with uni work so only got round to putting it in the other day. Put everything in, switched it on, four short beeps. I've checked online for what this means, system timer failure, but don't have a clue how to fix it. All my other components are working fine because I put my old motherboard back in. Only thing I can think of is that my RAM is incompatible but I've been informed it is. Any help would be appreciated as I want to make sure I can get refunded for the motherboard if it is defective.

Intel Core i5 4590S
ASRock Z97 Anniversary
CoolerMaster Hyper 103
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9)
Western Digital Blue 1TB
CoolerMaster 500W 80+
EVGA Geforce GT 740 OC 2GB

Tried this and it didn't work. When I turn it on I still get four beeps. And it definitely isn't any of my components as I have put my old motherboard back in again. If there are anymore suggestions as to what to do, I'd appreciate it as I'm going to try everything before I message the guy asking for a refund.

Thanks
