I have a Corsair Sabre mouse that I want to create some macros on. I have the pdf manual for the Corsair Utility Engine software but the macro instructions don't make a lot of sense to me. I want to set the back button to change the firing mode of my weapon in BF1, the keyboard shortcut for this is v. Do I somehow record the keystroke of v and then link it to the mouse's back button? Help please.

Solution
Exactly. First you must record the Key V with or Without delay depending on what you wanting to...
Then you have to assign to a buttom of your mouse that recording...
Thats it... Its kinda simple after all.

Well I tried recording the macro today but I can't figure out how to assign that macro to one of the mouse buttons. Got any ideas?

Ah, I got it. Clicking the backward button in the box linked it to the macro. I confirmed it works by opening notepad, clicking the mouse button for which the letter v types. Still need to test to see if it works in game.
