Skylake or Kabylake core i5

hello, im lost between the two, i wanted an Skylake 3.50 GHz - i5-6600K at first but now its N/A in the website im ordering from. i need a cpu as fast as possible. so which one is better?
1. Skylake 3.30 GHz - i5-6600

2.Kaby Lake 3.50 GHz - i5-7600

the K version of kabylake is N/A also.

i live in Lebanon we only have 1 website that we can order from so thats why im asking for help!

Unless you have a z170/z270 motherboard the 7600 is faster than the 6600k. Just remember if you get a 7600 any h110/b150/z170 motherboard might need a bios update. So if you get a 7600 I'd suggest a b250/h270/z270

7600 is faster, might be worth enquiring about the 7600k, it might just be out of stock this week. The 6600k is now previous gen, it would be saf eto assume it won't be coming back into stock.

and the motherboard i was gonna get was the asus z170 pro gaming aura, but i might change it to an msi z270 gaming pro carbon.

so i will get the kabylake core i5 7600 then. with a z270 motherboard.

If you're going to get a z270 board get the 7600k. If you're not getting a k series then back down to a h270/b250 board and save a few bucks. (If you do get a 7600k you'll need a CPU cooler as it doesn't come with one)

i already have an cpu cooler "Thermaltake Frio Silent 14"
and about the board if i get the h270 or b250 can i put the HyperX Fury 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 2400 (PC4 19200) in it? with the msi gtx 1060 6gb gaming?

Yes kaby lake defaults to 2400 and the 1060 will go into any board made in the past 8 years or more

i cant wait because i have exams and i need a pc as fast as possible so thats why i wanna get a good gaming one instead of a normal pc, now im on my mom's mini-laptop with 2gb ram :lol:
my old laptop is broken the one i used to study and work on.
