That CPU will support any graphics card. However, if this system is to be mainly for gaming and you are on a limited budget, you may get better gaming performance by using an i5 and a better graphics card such as the GTX 1060/1070.

The 6700 has (a whole lot) more computing power that it is needed by the 1050 so yes, buy it and upgrade later in the future. If you didn't buy the CPU yet may I suggest going with an i5? If you're gonna use your PC for gaming, an i7 is a bit of an overkill. If you're gonna stream, than it's good but then you need a better GPU
