in the bios it allows me to increase the bclk as i want, I've read you cant change bclk on motherboards unless you get a different bios version.
so if i can change the bclk does it mean my motherboard bios allows non k overclock?
using the f6 bios for GA-z170-HD3]
edit: this is the ddr4 version

Solution
yes a capable overclock mobo is able to overclock non"K" CPU with BCLK, but be aware if you want to oaverclock with BCLK because BCLK overclock is not only increasing the speed of CPU but other parts too such RAM, VGA, and STORAGE so stability is little bit difficult to achieve.
for example with my previous build using FM2+ amd a87600 with ASRock fm2a88x killer mobo, I disable all the power management from the bios such spead spectrum, c6 core, cool and quiet, etc.
my a8 7600 is 3.1 Ghz base clock and if you overclock with BCLK the math is BCLK (100 Mhz default ) "x" cpu base multiplier, I increase my BCLK 5% which is 105 Mhz so the calculation is 105 x 31 = so my new cpu speed is 3.255 Ghz.
shortly just like that.

already been to that site, my question is different though, i want to know if the f6 bios allows non k overclocking.
the site you gave me, when going to my motherboard say gives the f6e bios version to overclock.
i want to know if i can overclock since i can change the bclk values

my question is whether i can perform base clock overclock on this bios version, i've read that its impossible to change bclk but my bios allows me
