The motherboard does not detect the Samsung evo 850 M.2. On Asus' website it says "Adjust BIOS settings to use an M.2 SATA device." However, I don't know which BIOS setting to adjust and I can't seem to find setting on my own or any other answers to this question, even in the user manual for the board.

How do I enable an M.2 SATA device?

Solution
3.6.8 Onboard Device Configuration

M.2 and SATA Express Mode Configuration - [SATA Express 1] default

The default setting means M.2 can only support PCIe drives in the M.2 slot.

Since you have what appears to be an SATA drive not a PCIe drive, the BIOS setting should be changed to [M.2] from the default [SATA Express 1].

The [M.2] setting means M.2 can only support SATA drives.
