Looking for a new PSU. Dont need more than 550w and i dont really want to pay more than around £60. Any other suggestions for power supplies if these are really bad? Thanks

Solution
For your system, 500W range PSU is more than enough.

Here i suggest Seasonic S12II-520 that is well within your budget range while being far better quality than Corsair CXM series PSUs.
amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/tdd/Seasonic-S12-II-Bronze-Certified-Wired-Power-Supply/B00390P1NO

Here's also PSU Tier list: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

Seasonic S12II-520 is of good quality (Tier two) PSU while Corsair VS series is low quality (Tier four) PSU and Corsair CXM are mediocre quality (Tier three) PSU. Corsair CXM series was also low quality (Tier four) PSU but Corsair did improve their PSU quality a little bit.

All my 3 PCs: Skylake, Haswell and AMD are also powered by Seasonic PSUs. For example...

yah the CXM is much better. be sure it is the newer model with the [strike]green[/strike] grey label and you'll be getting a pretty good psu for a budget price.

if you're not sure if this is enough power, then post your specs and we can help decide if it's strong enough or if you need more power.

edit: brain crash, the grey labeled units are the newer much better versions of the cxm series.

Not the greatest specs because it was bought pre-built:
GPU: msi gtx 750ti (Looking to upgrade to an msi gtx 1050ti in the near future)
CPU: AMD FX-6350
MoBo: Gigabyte 78lmt-usb3

yah 500w or so is ample power from a quality unit. the corsair CXM is a fine budget choice so long as it is the newer grey labeled one. the seasonic aecus suggested is better quality for sure and forcheaper than the corsair is a better buy. save 6 pounds for a better psu is a no brainer :)

Thanks. One more question. I have had my PC for a few months. I know it may be fairly early to be upgrading, but i've seen a lot of things about how dodgy cheap power supplies are. My current is a CiT 500W Active 85 80 Plus Bronze. It is around £30 on amazon- https://www.amazon.co.uk/CiT-Active-Bronze-Power-Supply/dp/B01D0B5I16/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486402349&sr=8-1&keywords=cit+active+85 , so should I be worried and buy your suggested PSU now, or is my current one acceptable enough and ill just stick with this for a bit??

i'd not be trying any overclocking on that psu. not exactly junk but lower than junk for sure. i'd invest in the better psu before anything else. if you have to wait invest in a nice fire extinguisher just in case

i don't see any official reviews on it but that usually means they know it is not good and won't send out samples to be tested. not a good sign right away

All CIT PSUs are terrible quality (Tier five) PSUs and i wouldn't even look towards such crappy PSUs, let alone powering them up.

Tier Five
Avoid IMMEDIATELY. These units are highly unsafe to use. No such protections added, very thin gauge wiring used, false advertising and too much to list. Reference to a higher tiered unit for a better, money saving and a much safer unit. For your safety's sake, please don't order or pick one up for use in your system. These units are a potential fire hazard and could even kill you, let alone your system.

Here i don't suggest getting for a new PSU, here i recommend getting a new and better quality PSU.
