Hey everyone, I built my PC back in 2013 to play some of the modern PC games. However, now my PC doesn't run as quickly as it used to. Since most of my parts are at least 4 years old, what should I look at upgrading? I was thinking about getting an ssd, but don't truly understand if it will make my PC run better while gaming and/or browsing.
My Build:
i5-3570k
gtx 660ti
gigabyte z77 chipset mobo
8gb ram
1tb hdd
600w psu

Solution
For games, you just need a new GPU.

SSD will make things on the SSD load faster. It has little impact on game performance beyond that.

An additional 8GB of memory also wouldn't hurt, but that is a minor improvement.

Adding another 8gb of ram would help.
Better GPU would also be of use.
SSD gives nothing in terms of getting more FPS in games.
As for CPU upgrade, that would probably require new mobo as well, so you would pretty much ended making all-new machine.
