*My HDD light stays on for a while and my pc freezes*

Always happens the same when I boot my pc, she mades it to the desktop but then freezes and the HDD light stays on
I´ve already used memtest and no errors showed up
I´ve already used defrag to defragment the HDD and it says that the hard drive is in good health
i don´t know what else to do, some people told me that i may have to change my Mobo

Ey b0ss, are you running antivirus /anti malware scanning at startup and have you tried thoroughly cleaning your internet temp directories (using 3rd party tools). Also, check your startup processes, as there may a lot you can dump that can cause that symptom while running.

First remove all non-essential cards from your machine, i.e sound, modems etc, etc.

Download burn and run memtest from PassMark MemTest86 - Memory Diagnostic Tool. this may test your PC's memory. Leave it running for many hours.

Next

Download the manufacturers disk for your laborious drives. check and make sure that they're functioning properly.

Remove and clean all parts contacts and clean the cpu fan and the other fans in your system.
