One of my Backup Hard-drives crashed, but I was able to rescue most of the files. However, I have found that many of the files I "rescued" are actually corrupt. Does anyone know of a utility that can test all my files to see which ones are bad? Checksum software won't work, because I don't have a good version of the files to compare them too. I just was to find the bad ones and delete them, so I know what files that I have are still good and what I will need to recreate. So far the only way I have of finding out is to try opening each one... We're talking about THOUSANDS of files: mp3, avi, jpg, tif, bmp, mobi, epub, pdf, doc, xls, etc. I have searched the web and found a lot of people asking the same question, but no seems to have an answer.
