Upgrading SSD storage space, should I get an mSATA to keep old drives in use?

Hi all,

Looking to upgrade SSDs as the one with my operating system is quite full.

I currently have:
    1) Intel 520 Series 120GB SATA3 Solid-state Drive - Running my operating system and a few other programs
    2) WD 3.5" Blue 1TB WD10EZEX SATA3 64M 7200rpm HDD
    3) Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H ATX Motherboard - Comes with:
    • - 2 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors (SATA3 0/SATA3 1) supporting up to 2 SATA 6Gb/s devices
      - 4 x SATA 3Gb/s connectors (SATA2 2~SATA2 5) supporting up to 4 SATA 3Gb/s devices
      - 1 x mSATA connector

Would my least wasteful option be to get a 250 GB mSATA SSD?
Leave my OS on the 520 and move all future programs to the new one?
Is there anything I should know about mSATAs?
Currently looking at this: [strike]http://www.msy.com.au/pc-components/18114-wd-blue-ssd-wds250g1b0b-250gb-m2-ssd-solid-state-drive.html[/strike]
NEW: http://www.msy.com.au/msata/15235-samsung-850-evo-mz-m5e250bw-250g-msata-ssd-solid-state-drive.html

The other option would be to buy a regular SSD. How should I manage the ports? Something like:
New SSD --> 6gb/s
Old SSD --> 6gb/s
Old harddrive --> Doomed to 3 gb/s
How much would my HDD suffer from the slower port?

Thanks x!

UPDATE:
Thanks Paul for pointing out I was looking at the wrong component

Solution
The 2nd one should work yup. Since, it's Msata

Only thing is, not all programs like or will work if they're not on C.

So you may have to reinstall windows on the Msata. Unplug the other hdds, when you reinstall windows.

Connect them again after windows has been installed

Thanks for pointing that out, Paul.
I've found an alternative and updated the thread, would that work?
