So to quickly sum up what happened with my main PC:

Over the past few days my processor had been acting up, the fan was getting slow and fast and the processor was getting absurdly hot.

Next day I decided to play Overwatch which I normally always run at 65 FPS. But this time the game was running around 8 FPS. The fan to my processor stopped, so I closed the game and not long after my computer turned itself off.

When I tried to start it up again, everything turned on but it turned off again in the middle of start up.

Now i'm 99% sure it's my processor that needs to be replaced, but could it have been my power supply that !@#$ed with it?

Solution
Uhh, does the processor fan ever spin?
If it doesn't the fan is dead, which means the computer overheats and turns off, not that the processor is bad.
A replacement fan/heatsink is a pretty simple and cheaper fix.

It COULD be your PSU as well, but you'll have to tell us what the make and model of it is.

And you should probably give us detailed system specs for the rest of the system.

Be careful on your fan system, it can burn your procie again if your fan system is failing.
Try to spin CPU fan with your hand, if the spin is heavier than usual, you will need to change it too.

If still unsure with your fan, turn off your PC about 2-3 seconds after turning on the power (Important)
If the fan is good, then no need to scared even your pc system still have a problem.
