Asus Strix 8GB OC RX 480 glitching before driver is installed. Is this normal?

The glitching all but goes away after the drivers are installed. I ran the following tests: Heaven, Time Spy, Fire Strike, and a healthy session of heavily modded Skyrim. It runs flawlessly except in Heaven about half way through when it spins around the dragon, it glitches a bit on the outer 2/3 of the screen. Is this a driver issue or is my card faulty? I am gun shy because the first RX 480 (Red Dragon) I got did the same thing then eventually broke into full pixelation. I had to return it. Before this I have never had a card glitch prior to installing drivers. Anybody with a RX 480 that can confirm this is either normal or a faulty card?

Thats the camera clipping through a rock. Glad you find it enjoy your 480 :D.

Faulty most likely. I would return it.

I know the pain I had 5 bad hd 7870's before I could play. The store got a bad pallet because when I went to return my 5th one they started testing the leftovers and all of them were broken. Then I got a refund + discount and got a hd 7950 :D. Don't worry it'll be fine.

I fixed the problem. I did a manual clean uninstall and reinstall of the drivers and discovered windows had reinstalled my old 660 drivers automatically before I had a chance to shut down. I also discovered AMD's auto-detect had installed the wrong driver... As far as the perceived glitching while running Unigene Heaven check this out. https://youtu.be/ciji1FcA2Ho?t=1m35s (glitch occurs at 1:38-1:40, video starts at 1:35). Apparently the glitch is just part of the program. It occurs on every youtube video I watched using different graphics cards. Boy am I relieved!
