Hi forum,

I am looking at building my first water cooled PC into this case (which doesn't support a dual loop water cooling setup):

https://www.scan.co.uk/products/thermaltake-core-p5-tempered-glass-mid-tower-case-mitx-matx-atx-2x-usb-30-20-white-snow-edition?utm_source=google%20shopping&utm_medium=cpc&gclid=Cj0KEQiA2uDEBRDxurOO77Cp-7kBEiQAOUgKVyH2_AQfjOSuaphqAt55PpRD8KIwHFfwOGLmzmXTrH8aAstx8P8HAQ

I have searched the forums but didn't find an answer to my question is it worth setting up a two loop cooling system or a one loop cooling system?

My main priority is to have a sexy looking PC that has adequate cooling without overclocking.

Option1 dual loop: Comprises x2 pumps and x2 rads
The first loop would go Pump > CPU > RAM > Radiator
The second loop would go Pump > GPU > SSD > Radiator

Option2 : Single pump single rad
Single loop: GPU > RAM > CPU > SSD

Like I say i've never built a water cooled PC before. Any advice at this stage would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

As a first-time builder you should avoid using a SINGLE loop. You want a:

1) CPU only loop, and

2) GPU (or GPU's) only loop

3) Investigate buying GPU's with the waterblock already done (not an AIO which already has the pump/rad etc)

4) If you had TWO GPU's then you might want to just buy a CPU AIO, then make a custom loop for the graphics. I like the white/black theme with blue highlights/LEDs personally.

A NEUTRAL/White background with white coolant then using RGB lighting for all LEDs is worth considering as you can change the lighting and have it reflect off the white background to highlight (so can add red, blue, purple, green etc).

You should watch a bunch of Jayz2cents videos relating to liquid cooling.

*I would NEVER take the time to learn how to build a custom loop then not bother to overclock the CPU or GPU though. Seems like quite a waste to me. Yes, some people don't like to overclock because it makes them nervous, but those are people who aren't planning to LEARN about computers like you appear to want to do.

**I'd also hold off for RYZEN and see what value that offers.
