Hello there,
I've been having this issue on my pump-res combo since quite a while now. I decided to go on watercooling my system on August 2016. But on October, the pump suddenly stopped working.
It was strange, as the day before the pump was running perfectly. I disconnected everything to isolate the pump itself, and I realized that it was making a sound like a valve was closing and opening every 2 or 3 seconds, like a "tick-tock" sound kinda like. I think it was like the pump was wanting to actually pump de coolant but it was not able.
I had my pump changed for another one by EKWB, without solving the problem at all because they didn't tell me where the issue came from, they simply delivered a new pump.
Yesterday though it stopped working again and with the exact same issue: the opening-closing kind of valve. I actually managed to get it working by pluging and unpluging the 4 pin molex power connector several times within 30 min. And today as I'm writing this is happening again, though the CPU temp is below 70 degrees.
What could have made this happen? Has anyone had this same issue? If you tell me to empty the pump and refill it again I've already done it, and tilt the case around for some air bubbles and too.
Thanks for the help!
