My Motherboard says it supports 10Gbps speeds on the M.2 so what is that in Mbps?

Your question is ambiguous. Exactly what part did you write wrong? It's impossible to correctly answer a question that is incorrectly stated.

First understand that these are theoretical numbers. Due to processing overhead they will never be reached in real world applications.

1 Giga = 1000 Mega

"bps" means bits per second while "Bps" means bytes (8 bits) per second.
