Thats how Im running things. gsync and vsync on from nvidia control panel and vsync off ingame. thats how im running my acer xb271hu.

Only games i switched off vsync from nvidia are cs:go and overwatch for less input lag as im play them competitively.

Am i right?

Thanks

That behavior is a little different than when initially released, but I'm not seeing FPS greater than 144 with G-Sync turned on, even when it is possible.

Though that may solve the one annoyance I have had recently where some game menus were running way over sensible limits. I think I saw 3000 FPS the other day, and there was so much coil whine, I will try that later today.

Technically, V-sync should be off if you want to use G-Sync. I suppose as long as the setting for "Use in game setting" is flipped on then it would still work.

You would want G-sync off if you wanted to get the best input lag possible, but there would then be no cap on the maximum frame rate.
