Who's in their 30's and still likes to play PC games? Which ones do you play?

I'm 37 and despite having lost some interest in pc gaming I'm still playing every now and then. The type of PC game I love the most are simulators like Eurotruck Simulator 2 and Assetto Corsa.

What about you, guys?

46 here - I'm not a heavy gamer, and never have been.

I loved Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Thoroughly enjoyed Borderlands/Borderlands2/Borderlands Pre-Sequel
Currently semi-addicted to Don't Starve
And... a little while back got addicted to the original Plants vs Zombies game.

EDIT: I should add in that my son (10) and I tend to drop things back to the previous century and play Heroes of Might and Magic 3 (and sometimes HoMM 2) together. Also, when I played Borderlands, I played it with him.

i love racing and sim type games. and a good RTS if done right such as Dawn of War and the Red alert series.

running in a circle hoping to shoot someone in the back genre holds no interest for me. nor those survival type games where you just die over and over while trying to find a pair of pants to cover your underwear.

online play is just to toxic for my old self to enjoy. 43 years young by the way. i'll let the kids have their MMO stuff and enjoy some racing by myself :) GT series on PS has been a fav single PS1 way back in the day. Forza series is also good on Xbox. (not the new horizon one though, did not like that one)

I remember a time way back when I used to love RTS games such as the Red Alert series and Warcraft and a few others. Back then I used to play with friends or my dad, it was awesome, but it ended up shifting towards racing simulators after a couple of years. It's now the only game genre I can't stop playing even if every now and then. But I'll always hold dearly a place in my memory of those good old days of those almost endless sessions of RTS with my friends and my dad.

I'm 41 and played games like Battlefield 1, mafia 3, Fallout 4, Farcry primal and watchdogs 2. I was a big fan of free MMORPG game, but lost interest 10 years ago since game maker started money oriented.

Over 40 here and love the open world games like Skyrim and Fallout 3/4. I used to love shooters but now I like my games to be more about exploring and a story. Battlefield 1 might get me back into shooters though, based on the reception for that game it might be worth a look.

Recently turned 50 with 400+ hours on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Trying hard to finish Batman: Arkham Knight - currently at 92 % overall but I'm stuck in the Azrael side mission because I SUCK at melee combat (and my standard keyboard and crappy standard mouse aren't helping).

My absolute favourite is the Tomb Raider series (2013 and 2015) for the story-line, secondary dialogue, and impressive scenery. Every now and then, I stop by GTA V and spend a couple of hours walking around Los Santos, getting a haircut or going to the movies - it's a fascinating game.

Most recently, I've embarked upon Rainbow 6: Siege, which is very different from anything I've tried so far. Could become very interesting, but right now it's mostly insanely difficult, and I'm still at the tutorials! But I'm going to ditch my standard keyboard/mouse setup very soon and finally get some dedicated gaming peripherals.

I'm 32 and still play some games. Now I'm playing Thea: The Awakening, Cities: Skylines and Grim Dawn.

I have some more games waiting in my library, most of them are turn based strategy or RPG/aRPG.

I'm 36 and seem to be addicted to gaming. I've loved video games since my first console(atari 7800). I guess my love for it will never die. I only just recently got into online gaming last summer and I never seem to get tired of it. So far i've played GTA 5(alot), Borderlands 2, and Saints Row and still want to build my library. Any recommendations!

My introduction into the gaming world was through an Atari console as well, back when I was about 5 or 6 in 85 or 86. Then my first PC in 1993 when I was 13 and from then on I was hooked on pc gaming. I've tried GTA V recently and simply LOVED it although my graphics card isn't good enough for it and I got some CTD's with it.

It's funny I didn't get my first pc until 2003 (with windows 98) and the only thing I could play on that was Nintendo, sega genesis games, etc. The problem with people our age playing online is that most players are kids that we have to play with! I still have a lot of vintage games on my pc, but like I said, I got addicted to gta online and I've played like 75 percent of the time since I started last summer. If you ever get a better graphics card and/or pc add me on social club(ouchkryptonite). It would be nice to play with someone other than these damn kids all the time LOL!

57 going on 13 and I dont really have a game type and play a number of different games. Currently looking forward to the release of Star Citizen myself (no troll comments necessary) and I love all form of space sim, but certainly not my only choice.

The day I stop gaming is the day I physically cant! Anyone tell you that you are to old to play, just remember it is them that has the problem, NOT YOU!

I don't see my taste in games changing any time soon though.

I am 63 and still a gamer. Gaming gets better as you get older, with a water cooled 12 core, water cooled Titan, Two 4k displays.

I finished Skyrim and witcher 3 several times each.

I'm 36 and I've been gaming since 1988. From the halcyon days of copying pages of code (with the help of my dad) from early PC magazines, to program onto cassette tapes for a lowly Dragon n32/64, to playing 3 colour CGA games on 5.25" floppies and 3D games on my first IBM compatible PC - Amstrad 1512 to playing some classics on the Commodore Amiga 500.

I still love gaming. specifically Open world RPGs. I'm actively playing Titanfall 2 & The Division on multiplayer, and I love modding Skyrim/Fallout 4, roaming about in Witcher 3, and grinding loot in ARPGs.

I spent most of last saturday disassembling my rig, so that I could repaste the CPU and get rid of the dust bunnies and do some cable management. The things we do for love!

Are u a sports player or have military/police xp in RL? I'm in my mid 30s and my FPS game has gone to the dogs. I own CS:GO but hardly ever play it because I'm just not fast enough to play. In fact any FPS, even Battlefield is really too fast pace for me now. I still play but get ownd on d regs. Now I find RPGs to be my thing. Big hopes for Andromeda, hopefully they learned their lessons from ME3.

You would probably find if you played a lot of FPS still, then you would rehone your twitch skills. I find that If I play an FPS for an extended period of time, then I get leet....then if I stop for a week or two....when I return...I'll get get owned completely. It always takes me a while to get back into the swing of things again.

I still play a lot of FPS, but I can't deny my FPS reflexes are still *way* slower at 38 than they were at 18.

FPS was something i never got into. bought as close to that as i ever got was the good ol Super Contra from the SNES :)

or maybe the old 1942 type games. bout as twitch as i ever want to get into. that and the online games are just so toxic that i can't more than a few minutes of it. even games i enjoy i can't play online despite knowing i'd enjoy the competition. would love to play some Gran Turismo or Forza online but my few brief tries at it were quickly killed by the players trying nothing more than to ruin my day with their horrible behavior. i know it makes me sound old but in this instance i am old and know "them damn kids" have ruined it for me :(
