Brand new build, heard a faint clicking/ticking noise at regular interval from the case, kinda sounded like a fan rubbing up on something... thought it might be something like the CPU fan header wire caught in the heatsink fan... but upon close examination and listening directly to the PSU I determined it was coming from the PSU. It can sometimes go away if I lean the case to its side and back upward again... and in normal operation it tends to start being audible after the PC has been on for a while. Seems to be no obvious connection to CPU/GPU load.
Is this likely to be a bad PSU? Unfortunately I got my PSU almost 2 weeks before everything else due to unfortunate shipping circumstances, so it's already past the Newegg return window. Should I return this under warranty? Any tips on what other tests/checks I can do?
