This is really frustrating since I perfected my fsb overclock @4.2ghz(Amd a8 5500 locked) without any issues. After I installed my new ssd to replace my dead hdd, I tried to load that profile, which resulted in a blue screen error, and even copied just the settings for the oc, but still nothing. used to be 124 mhz frequency, now I can`t go above 105 stable even if I increase the voltage offset. And each blue screen said inaccessible boot device. Could this mean that the fsb is tied to more than the ram and cpu clock? Like even the sata ports? Ive never experienced any issues with my hdd, so could an bclk overclock be not possible with it?

Weird, logically no chance overclock has something to do with storage device. And i never heard of similar issue.
Have u overclocked your cpu before in BIOS or in OS?

Some SSD change the Windows Power settings when you install them. Check your Windows Power settings.

All my settings were done in the bios by changing the baseclock for the cpu. Never used any overclocking software except using amd overdrive strictly for monitoring temps and stress testing.

I`ve changed it to maximum performance after a fresh install of windows 10. would setting the ssd not to turn off solve this?
