r9 380X memory droping to 150mhz when trying to oc

Hello yesterday i decided to try to oc my r9 380x with AMD watt-man and when i try to change the memory by any amount and press apply it drops to 150mhz. I then have to completely uninstall the drivers with ddu and reinstall to get it to go back to normal. i am using 17.1.2 drivers. i never had any problems OCing my old GPUs before. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Big issue with R9 200/300 series GPU's. Reinstall your drivers again using DDU, and don't enable WATTMAN at all. Leave it off, It's what seems to cause these issues. Try OC'ing only using Afterburner.
