I have a Dell Alienware Aurora R4 PC and recently 1 of my 2 hard drives (the first one) got corrupted. I was forced to delete all the info on it and eventually ended up deleting the raid 1 which I had. After a few days I ordered a new hard drive and plugged it in by itself without any of the other ones but my computer can't seem to recognize it. When I boot up my PC it says "internal hard disk drive not found" but when I run the PSA test no problems are found. Can anyone help me figure out what the problem is? Thanks. Also if you're wondering there is no SATA 1, 2, 3 or 5 installed but there is 0 and 4. This may seem a bit dumb but honestly I'm lost and I feel like I've tried everything.

Hey there.

If the drive is not recognized by the BIOS/UEFI, you should give it a try with a different SATA port and cables, just to exclude a faulty connection as the possible culprit. It would be even better if you could try it out with a different computer, to see if the same thing happens.
Try changing the SATA mode from RAID to AHCI. I'd also suggest that you try resetting or updating your BIOS/UEFI to see if this issue persists.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how it goes.
