I backed up some files to my 64gb usb drive and then I made the same drive an installation media for windows 10, not knowing it would wipe out my files. After installing windows I looked at the properties of the usb and it said it only had 31gb of maximum capacity, so technically it halved in storage. I don't really care for retrieving the files because I already format the drive. I just want it to be 64gb again. Any ideas? :??:

Solution
In disk manager does the drive show as 64gb.
Odds are that only a 32gb partition was created thus the rest of your drive is just unallocated spcace.

Delete all partitions and create a new one the full size of the drive.
