Hi all, I have looked through this forum for help and tried a multiple solutions found in threads here related to my Mobo and Ram problem but I am still having problem.

I run an i7-2600k currently at stock freq. on a Gigabyte GA-z68x-UD3H-B3 Motherboard, with 16gb of DDR3 2133Mhz G. Skill Ram. 850W Cooler Master Power Supply

Following this youtube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSDtMzf_EaE

I did have a successful and stable system at 4.4Ghz and got the ram to 2133. But then foolishly played around with the Freq. on my new RX480 in MSI Afterburner and saved settings that crashed my system. Setting me back to square one, and now I cannot get the ram to run at 2133. Cant get any type of OC on my processer. Any type of voltage setting outside optimized defaults has resulted in a crash at post.

1st. Ram Runs at 1600Mhz. I first updated the BIOS to F12 on my Mother Board. When trying to update to UEFI it says BIOS Check Error. So the F12 BIOS update worked. Next, I found threads detailing to enable X.M.P Profiles (I've tried Both), and to increase the DRAM Voltage to 1.65V. Again Anything outside of AUTO settings causes a crash a post.

My Settings in the BIOS were:
CPU VCore: 1.47V
QPI/Vtt Voltage: 1.09V
System Agent Voltage: .930V
CPU PLL: 1.820V
Dram Voltage: 1.52V

Anybody have any tips on how I can first: Get my Ram to the appropriate Frequency, and second, direct me to a viable processor overclock?

Thanks for the help!

So your system will crash if you change voltages. What about changing RAM frequency without changing voltage - does that crash too?
Not to worry you, but if the thing can't be sorted out in BIOS, that could mean you damaged your mobo.

Yes Sorry, some additional information. Once I bricked it with the GPU settings. I pulled the CMOS Battery, booted into safe mode, used DDU to uninstall the display drivers, and then reinstalled them. Havent moved my GPU settings at all yet. My system is stable now, but I have a stock CPU that wont budge, and 2133 Ram running at 1600.

Yes, once the BIOS was updated to F12, I started my overclock process from optimized defaults. The video I linked above was the general idea of my voltage settings for 4.4Ghz, I used less voltage on most settings than in the video as I was not going as high, but never took a picture of these settings. So I dont have an idea of what my correct settings were.

Yes so far I have been unable to load the Ram at the 2133 profile using auto voltage settings. My system is stable now at stock and from my understanding I should be thankful that it is. I think the stock 2600k is bottlenecking my MSI rx 480 that I just got, so I might look at a new mobo/processor combo.
