Help With New Computer

I just built a new computer

Specs:
AMD FX-4350 Quad Core 4.2 Gigahertz
16GB Ram
2 TB Storage
Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB
Motherboard GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-USB3

My problem is this. I tried to play a game on this computer but my problem is that i get low FPS with these specs. Is there a setting i need to change? Or is there a further problem. Do i have a problem with the motherboard and the video card or processor? How do i fix this?

So I found my answer. First of all, everyone saying that my computer is weak is completely and utterly incorrect. I downloaded ark which has not been optimized and is resource demanding, and tried testing that. When I was playing, i was able to use the best graphics on that game with no lag on the "Weak computer" you all described. The technology specialist at my school whom helped me with this computer also told me it might have something to do with the setting VSYNC in Minecraft its self. That was on. I also did that on my mac and was able to go from 60 FPS on my mac to around 150. Given your current predicaments, I turned that setting off on the "Weak Computer" and got over 1000 FPS. If its not much to you, thats EXTREMELY hight for...

First of all, no offence but these are not weak in my opinion. What ever computer you have yeesh! I'm just trying to play minecraft nothing installed. I had this problem on another computer but i was able to fix it. I don't remember how though. So please, could I have an answer to this?

I agree with why_wolf its actually a bit weak...Gpu is alright but im unsure about your cpu. You can download msi afterburner and check cpu and gpu usage. I believe its a cpu bottleneck. Havent played minecraft but i heard its cpu intensive game.

Thank you for being positive but minecraft doesn't need that much of a SUPED up computer. Im not looking for crazy games to play on extreme settings. I just don't want 50 FPS on a game that doesn't need much in a computer to run. I ran minecraft at 50 FPS on intel Pentium and integrated graphics on a LAPTOP. Please answer my question and also could you tell me whats weak about this computer. I should be able to run this at maybe 200 FPS right?

I really need help with this. How do i know for sure its a cpu bottleneck? What can i do to fix it?
