GPU not running as it use to in new rig

I have an i5 6600K, 16 gigs of memory and a GTX 1060 OC. A lot of the games I tried with the new rig doesnt run very well, very poor framerates. Running the latest drivers. Never really had bad framerates when I had the 1060 in my previous prebuilt, it had an FX 4300 and 8 gigs of memory on the old rig.

A bit disappointing for a new custom rig

Hard to say without numbers or titles.

Did you do a complete re-install of the OS, or drop the drive into the new build? That can have odd effects.

installed win 10 in yesterday. ive got two hdds on me, currently using the old one from the pre built.

i had to use some strength to get the GPU in the slot. the slot has a dent and the card wiggled and had a bit of tension from my fingers when i tried to force it in.

Problem solved, just had to get rid of one monitor plug that is connected to the motherboard.. its now running through the GPU.
