Hi there I've searched but couldn't find an answer honestly I think I'm just simply in denial..

I just built my computer I have an i7-4790k on a z97 asrock fatal1ty killer motherboard. When I got the motherboard I was aware the usb 3.0 socket was damaged the guy bent the pins and I just saw that they looked like the needed to be bent back. So I bought the board and bought my cpu new. I used it like that for not even a month and then attempted to straighten out the pins on the 3.0 socket back into place when I did 3 pins broke off. I then blew out the motherboard really well with a can of air just to be on the safe side to ensure no pins that broke were left behind and apparently I managed to blow a pin into a ram slot and I didn't notice I then powered on the computer with no post and only half my fans were working the gpu fan cpu fan and psu fan were all working.

When it didn't post I powered off the psu and disconnected it re-seated the cpu gpu and removed one of my ram sticks I even reset the bios and still no post then I realized that there was a pin laying in one of the ram slots I wasn't using. I then removed it but didn't fix anything I got a new mother board and I attempted to rma my cpu but the cpu cooler fan is missing off my stock cpu heat sink it got broken when I moved two weeks ago. So my cpu rma wasn't accepted.

Is there a chance my cpu is still good??
