Hey guys.
I'm begging for some help here.
I crawled into bed after 'purchasing' a movie, so I could watch it. I had a shock come from my long headset cable into my hand. I noticed that only the left side audio was playing after I hit play. The headset is fine. I plug into my speakers with the headset, then the speakers go to my mobo. I tested the speakers via their jack on my phone and they play music and other audio just fine.
What the ffffffff have I done? I've looked at my levels-- balance included. I've ran the troubleshooter for the audio. I've tried to update the audio drivers. I can see that when I click to test sound with a pure right level, my pc acknowledges that the audio is playing.
I'm at a loss.
Did I just fry my mobo audiojack / onboard audio?
What can I do?
I'm a student, money is real tight.
