I'm having issues with my USB slots. When it comes to devices such as keyboards , mice etc.. it works no problem but when it comes down to a USB flash drive or external optical drives etc.. it won't do anything in windows. This was an issue for me installing windows so I had to install it on a friends PC instead because I have no CD-ROM . It's extremely weird because USB 2.0 is recognized in my BIOS but as I said , windows does nothing when plugged in . I'm trying to install mobo drivers ;( . Pls help!

MOBO: asus z270-M Plus

Your Windows has a corrupted USB driver most likely.

Run this program - it's safe don't wirry I use it on my personal PC (you can delete it after)

When you install it, run a check of your USB drivers and just update everything.

RESTART and if it detects your USB2.0 devices then delete the Driver Booster app.
