Quick question abour power supplies compatibility

Hello im jst wondering if the Corsair RM750i is compatible with the MSI H110M gaming motherboard, i heard somehing about it having only one EPS connector, and can you guys explain to me more clearly what is the EPS connector do and works? Thanks!

It is compatible.

EPS connector is a 4+4pin connector which is used as an additional power to the CPU. If your motherboard only has 4 pins for the EPS, you simply use only half of that connector. If your mobo had all 8 pins, you would use all of them. 8-pin EPS connectors can usually be found on overclocking motherboards, your motherboard will be fine with just 4 pins it provides.

Thans for the info, so for example if i brought a new mobo do i need to buy a new psu? If so, which one do you recommend? Thanks
