Any GPU Water block cleaning tricks?

Hey there everyone!

So i've recently acquired a used HD7990 with an EK Nickel Waterblock.

I do want to clean the water block before connecting it to the waterfowl but i dont want to unscrew and open it to do so, as its not Recommended by EK themselves.

so is there anything I can do, any tricks youre willing to share?

Hello man


Get some brushes for cleaning hummingbird feeders. Ones like these are very helpful and can get into the block a little ways, and you can find slightly longer ones too that might work. Also, if you have a pressure washer, you can force water through the block. You will get wet though :lol:
