Will a GTX 1070 work with my build?

I have an MSI Z97 Gaming 5 LGA 1150 mobo, i5-4590 Processor (6M Cache, 3.3 GHz),
EVGA 850 GQ, 80+ GOLD 850W, with 16 GB of DDR3 RAM. Currently running a GTX 960 4GB. If this will not work, what should I upgrade?

It will work, doubtless.
It's also be a great upgrade compared to your current GTX 960.

It will max-out any game in 1080p with more than 60FPS all the time, it can even run 1440p games properly.
