noisy laptop cooling fan

hi i have a noisy cooling fan on a aceraspire5315 cleaned the fan but still noisy how can i tell if its the fan or maybe the harddrive i know its old but still works well please help thankyou tony in cyprus

A simple way to check is to see the hhd usage. If it is over 50% it will make noise. To see if it is the fan, use hwmonitor to see the rpm of the laptop.

if you already clean the fan but you still have the problem
then the next thing I would do is replace the fan
