Hello, I have recently ordered my new PC parts and I received more RAM however I realised that they are different speeds.

I already have 16GB(2x8GB) Corsair LPX Vengeance Black 3200MHz

And I am also receiving 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair LPX Vengeance 3000MHz.

I am wondering if I OC the 3000 to 3200 can I use all 4 DIMMs or should I insert all 4 and use at the lowest speed (3000MHz) or will this not work?

The motherboard is a Gigabyte Z270X-Ultra Gaming Motherboard.

Thank you!

Hi,
3 things to consider:
1-speed
2-cas
3-voltage

If they are all same voltage, it should work ok but the ram will be limited to the slower one.
If voltage are same but cas are different you may run into trouble. The more they differ. But if you have good ram , you can bring the speed down to slowest and tweak cas to be the same as slowest.
Good luck
