Before I get started heres some information on the laptop:

CPU:AMD A6 3400m with AMD 6520G integrated graphics
GPU:AMD Raedon 6750M
OS:Windows 7 64-bit
Website I've tried to get drivers from: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-dv6-Entertainment-Notebook-PC-series/5082212/model/5153432

So recently my laptop popped up with an error saying 'no AMD graphics driver installed' I did some research and downloaded DDU(display driver uninstaller) I ran that then reinstalled the graphics drivers from the hp website. After my laptop restarted I was met with blue screen of death with atikmdag.sys error. Since then I have tried fresh installing windows, installing my drivers from windows update, installing via AMD crimson, installing via amd auto detect however everything seems to either make my display adapters have error 43 in device manager, blue screen me on restart or give me 'no AMD graphics driver installed' Please help :( any help will be much appreciated.

Solution

The video not working properly on the correct drivers and after a factory restore to new setup would pretty much nail down that the video card has failed.

Hey thanks for the reply, how would I check if my video card was dead? When I check it under device manager both of the cards appear there and are detected by the system.
