Hello everyone!

I need some help over a problem that rose just few days ago. What happens is: when I startup the pc in the morning, once I get into windows (so after the bios and the logo) the screen "refresh" itself with strange colors (not really artifacts, but is like a colored wave that moves around the screen). This last for just a couple of second and after that the screen is perfectly fine. The rest of the day I have no problem playing games, watching videos, etc. All the temps are fine, even for my 4790k which is at 4,5ghz (under load cpu is at 50 C° max, gpu under load is at 60°C). Could be this related to the gpu, psu or monitor? So far I've just tried to unplug the monitor, let it cool, and replug into the operating windows, but it does not replicate the problem. Any idea? Thanks a lot for any help!

my config is: CPU i7 4790k, GPU gtx 670 (4gb), PSU Antec 620 M, MONITOR Benq XL2411T, RAM Ballistix Tactical 8gb 1600mhz (not OC)

Highly doubt it's your PSU.
Doubt it's your monitor.
Probably your GPU.

I'd recommend swapping out the monitor / GPU, or plugging in another monitor (if you can).
I'd also recommend reinstalling your drivers just in case.

This evening I'm goin to uninstall my gtx 670, so tomorrow morning I can plug the monitor into the integrated gpu that comes with the 4790K, just to make sure the monitor is not the source of the problem. I just hope this problem is not one of those that comes and goes randomly

Thanks for answering. Shouldn't do kind the same problem when I'm gaming too? I also tried to stress test the gpu but no problem occurred while testing (I've tried to test it with 3dmark and video memory stress test)
