I am having an insanely frustrating issue. I just build a brand new gaming rig and it isn't working for the life of me...
Intel I-5 6600
MSI Krait Gaming 3x Motherboard
I installed Windows 10 on it, the installation seemed to go well. I logged in and it said that the display drivers were missing as well as the LAN drivers. I went to the MSI support page, downloaded the drivers onto a USB, and attempted to install them on my PC. The installation window showed the entire process, but at the end of the installation a window popped up saying that there are "No Intel(r) adapters present" and the installation failed.
I asked around and had people recommend installing the intel chipset drivers from this link https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775/Intel-Chipset-Device-Software-INF-Update-Utility-
Even after installing that, it still isn't working. I have zero idea what could be going on, it seems like there are no adapters, drivers, or anything on my CPU or MoBo...
Any idea of what I need to do to fix this??
