So this is a problem I have definitely never ran into before. I had just built a brand new PC. Booted it up and it worked perfectly. Everything was running well until about a week later or so. Whenever my computer goes through any kind of task, it makes a loud buzzing noise (kind of like a dial up sound) and I believe it is coming from my PSU. The sound happens whenever I click my mouse, while I am typing, or just anytime the computer really does anything. But this is the interesting part. I went into my computer's power settings and changed it to High Performance and the sound got louder. The levels of sound change when I switch between power modes.
I am hoping I won't have to replace any parts because everything is right out of the box.
