Hello, I recently bought myself 2 new RAM bricks of 8GB each. So in total 16GB. In addition to this i bought a new SSD. I will list all of my current and previous specs below.

After I installed the new hardware I am noticing a big decline in my FPS rate, aswell as the general speed of the computer it feels. Since I installed a new SSD I had to install windows on the new SSD, I downloaded windows 7 from a disc, and upgraded to windows 10 for free threw assistive technology. I installed the 16 GB of RAM and put them in the right slots for my motherboard (Slot 2 and 4).

Before the upgrade my framerate in the games I was playing was fine, and I had no actual problems with the computer. However, after I upgraded my computer the FPS when I am playing games is really low and unstable, aswell as the computer being slow while browsing chrome etc. I have the 64 bit version of windows and I really dont understand what I have done wrong. Could someone please help me out?

Current specs:
MSI Z97 GAMING 5, Socket-1150 (Motherboard)
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 970 4GB (GPU)
Intel Core i5-4590, Socket-LGA1150 (CPU)
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5" (SSD)
Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 2400MHz (RAM)
Corsair HX 750W (PSU)

The old SSD and RAM:
Crucial m4 SSD 2.5" 128GB
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 16GB CL9

Solution
Check the Graphics drivers and the Motherboard chip-set drivers.

The mb drivers will be on the Accompanying disk or avail from the Manufactures website.
