Hey everyone, so I've always loved PC gaming but never brought myself to get myself a real nice rig. I'm getting back into it after a break and I was wondering if I could get some advice/help on deciding to upgrade, build, or purchase a new PC?

Currently I just have a generic Asus PC, it's a M32 basically a home office computer haha. This is what it's got:

Windows 8.1
AMD A6-6400K APU with Radeon HD Graphics, 3.90 GHz
4 GB Ram
64 bit OS

Now, I really can't decide if I should upgrade what I have here, and if so, where should I start? Or maybe should I build one? Money can be saved up over time, so I'm not worried about the cost. Or, maybe buy an already built PC? I'm a bit lost here

I really appreciate all and any advice/help in advance. :)

only thing I can add to Videoking's reply which was on point, is go play with configurations in pcpartpicker.com and get a better perspective on things and prices (regional manager top right connect if not usa) and you can start looking at newegg.com and or google "gaming pc build" and there are companies out there that will give you choice pf parts to select they build, test and ship it to you. so doing it yourself is cheaper, getting it build custom to your taste and professionally is also available

PS: new AMD Ryzen CPU is coming out in 2-3 weeks, maybe another reason to wait a touch longer to do a full upgrade..

If you are on some budget, everyone will recommend to build Your Gaming PC Rig. The question is - What do you search for? Low price Gaming PC to run almost every game nice (Without Recording / Streaming, ect.) or non budget, more expensive Gaming PC to run EVERY Game on 100% Max Settings, Recording or / and Streaming.

These are two different things, you can decide, search some information online, watch Tutorials, watch Benchmarks (CPU's, GPU's, ect.) . . .

(I don't speak English very well, so.. :D I hope you to find the best Parts / PC Configuration and enjoy!)
I will reply / try to help if necessary! :)
